U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Jeffrey Bohm is presiding over the chapter 11 bankruptcy case of former hand surgeon and high-flying multi-millionaire Michael Brown, in Houston.

According to a report in the Houston Chronicle, Judge Bohm ordered Brown and his attorneys to prepare a budget for when he is released from prison. Brown will be surrendering Friday to begin serving a 30 day prison sentence for interfering with a flight attendant.

According to the article, Judge Bohm stated: "He's not going to be able to keep the same lifestyle that he's been living — at least for now."

The case is the talk of the courthouse, and it already has a chapter 11 trustee appointed, Ronald Sommers. Most chapter 11's are managed by the debtor in possession (the person or company filing bankruptcy).
