Houston Bar Association, Houston Bar Foundation & HVLP Recognize Our Law Firm with Equal Access to Justice Award for pro bono work

OK, we are proud. And going to "blow our own horn" a little.

On November 17, 2014, the Houston Bar Association, Houston Bar Foundation, and the Houston Volunteer Lawyer's Program honored Law Office of J. Thomas Black, P.C. with an Equal Access to Justice Award. It was awarded to us prior to the 65th Annual Harvest Celebration at the River Oaks Country Club.

There are many, many people in the Houston, Texas area that desperately need legal representation and cannot afford it and need your help.

If all Texas attorneys would accept just one pro bono (for the public good) legal case per year, it would make a big dent in the number of unserved or underserved low-income Texans. We encourage all Houston area attorneys to Make Justice Happen!

If you need a referral, go the Houston Volunteer Lawyer's Program and choose a case.
