No, not as a Member of Congress. But on
February 12-13, 2007, Mr. Black is going to Washington, D.C. to lobby Congress
on behalf of you, his clients, in his capacity as Texas State Chairman
(Southern District), of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy
Attorneys (NACBA).
The current bankruptcy law was changed in October 2005, due to lobbying by the credit industry. Now it's time to bring some balance back to the law. Ordinary consumers have rights, not just the big credit card banks, the credit unions, and the auto finance companies. Tell me your experiences, and I'll share them with your Members of Congress!
